Think of a sweet and sour pickle only in peppers. They are wonderful on sandwiches, and have a fresh and tasty zing of flavor. Enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • OIL
  • 15 Yellow, Red or Orange sweet peppers (Can use "Cubana" hot peppers)
  • 3 tablespoons Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 1 Clove garlic (or 1/4 teaspoon minced)
  • 2 cups boiled water

Directions

  1. Wash and clean peppers, slice in quarters, fry in oil and place in clean pint jars.
  2. Put in vinegar, sugar and garlic and add enough water over peppers just up to the rim and put on tops and screw lids loosely.
  3. Cold pack for about 10 minutes remove the jars from water and make sure the seal is tight.
  4. Let cool makes.
