Directions

  1. Heat some freshly cooked or possibly canned asparagus tips in butter until they are heated through. Place them on fingers of buttered toast, sprinkle well with grated American cheese, and place under the broiler until the cheese is melted. (Cut the asparagus tips down to the size of the fingers.)
