  • 6 x Apples -- sliced thin
  • 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1/3 c. Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp Ginger
  • 4 c. Sponge cake -- in small Cubes
  • 1/2 c. Margarine -- melted

Directions

  1. Mix apples with lemon juice, sugar and spices. Toss cake cubes with margarine. Put 1/3 of cake in greased 8"x12" dish, top with hal f of apples. Repeat. Top with remaining cubes. Cover and bake 30 minutes. at 375F. Uncover and bake 30 Minutes. more.
