Ingredients
- 1 x frying chicken cut in pcs salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup (10 3/4 ounce.)
- 1/2 c. dry white wine or possibly sherry
- 2 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 2 Tbsp. dry Italian salad dressing mix
- 2 pkt cream cheese (3 ounce. ea.) cut in cubes
- 1 Tbsp. minced onion
Directions
- Wash the chicken and pat dry. Brush with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place in crockpot and sprinkle with dry salad dressing mix. Cover and cook on Low for 5 to 6 hrs. About 45 min before serving, mix soup, cream cheese, wine and onion in a saucepan. Cook over low heat till smooth. Pour over chicken in pot. Continue cooking for another 30 min.
