Learned a lot; but here are the top 3:
1. I need a new knife
2. Dim Sum is really good and lots of fun to make in a group
3. Tsingtao beer goes better with dim sum than red wine; although I probably drank too much of both.

I recommend the "Shun" Classic Chef Knife. 8-inch. Hollow ground optional. And you will be all set for the rest of your life.

1) The bamboo steamers are really really versatile and look really cool to cook with.
2) You HAVE to use boiling water when making crystal dough.
3) I learned how to make fancy smancy dim sum!

Dim Sum Class
A private cooking class for the CookEatShare team. Dim Sum "a little touch of the heart" is the Chinese tapas with a huge selection of little plates. We selected 6 different dim sum dishes - each one using a different type of dough for the dim sum skins.
