  • 30 x Graham wafers
  • 1 c. Butter
  • 3/4 c. Brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Vanilla
  • 1 c. (or possibly more) sliced almonds
  • 1 c. (or possibly more) golden brown raisins

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil, folding the foil over the edge. Grease the foil lightly. Arrange graham wafers in a single layer over the foil. Scatter almonds and raisins over wafers. In a saucepan, heat butter over low heat. Add in brown sugar and bring mix almost to a boil. Cook, stirring, for three min. Take off heat and stir in the vanilla. Pour warm glaze over almonds and raisins. You do not have to spread it out completely (it will spread during baking). Bake for seven min. Let cold for about 20 min, and cut into bars while still hot.
