Ingredients

  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • Optional fruit, chocolate syrup
  • Rock salt
  • Ice

Directions

  1. Fold in #1 can with tight lid. Put into #2 can with tight lid. Put ice into #2 can around the #1 can that is filled with the ice cream. Sprinkle with 3/4 c. rock salt. Roll can for 10 min. Open and stir ice cream. Drain water from ice and add in more ice and salt. Roll 10 min more. May put into freezer to harden more.
