Strawberry Sour Cream Pie

You can use Strawberries, Peaches, Blueberries, Blackberries, whatever you like. Easy and delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked 9-inch (Deep) Pastry Pie Shell
  • 1 Pint Fresh Strawberries (or other fruit)
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 & 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp. Sugar (reserved)

Directions

  1. Prepare Fruit (wash, remove stems/peelings, etc. Quarter or slice fruit so it is bite-size. Sprinkle peaches or strawberries with sugar, preferably the night before).
  2. Preheat Oven to 450 degrees.
  3. Drain Fruit & place in bottom of unbaked Pie Shell.
  4. Sift Flour, Sugar, and Salt together in a med. bowl. Add sour cream and stir well.
  5. Spread over fruit evenly.
  6. Sprinkle with reserved sugar.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes at 450.
  8. Then reduce heat to 350 degrees (don't remove pie, just lower temp) and Bake another 30 minutes or until crust is a gentle, golden brown. DO NOT OVER BAKE. Will be gooey.
