  • 1/4 pound rhubarb, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/4 pound strawberries, hulled and sliced
  • 1 Tbsp light-brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
