Directions

  1. Mix the pork with the soy sauce, cool water and cornstarch. Marinate for about 15 min. Combine the sauce ingredients in a bowl. Stir to blend.
  2. Heat the oil in a skillet or possibly wok. When the oil is very warm, add in the pork.
  3. Stir fry for 30 seconds. Set aside. Drain all but 3 Tbsp. of oil from the pan. Quickly stir fry the garlic and ginger over high heat. Add in the water chestnuts, wood ears and pork strings. Stir thoroughly. Add in the sauce. Mix proportionately. Serve warm.
