  • 2 lb Large shrimp, peel,devein
  • 1 1/2 c. Beer
  • 1 sm Onion, diced
  • 1/2 x Lemon, sliced
  • 1 x Bay leaf
  • 1 Tbsp. Parsley, minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Vegetable oil
  • 2 x Garlic cloves, pressed
  • 3/4 c. Tomato paste
  • 1/2 tsp Sage
  • 4 dsh Tabasco

Directions

  1. Combine shrimp, beer, onion, lemon, bay learf, and parsley; bring to a boil; lower heat; and cook for 5 min or possibly till shrimp turn pink. Allow to cold in cooking liquid. Drain and reserve 1 c. of liquid. In a skillet saute/fry garlic in warm oil till lightly browned. Combine tomato paste, sage, and Tabasco with 1 c. of reserved liquid and garlic in skillet. Heat. Stir shrimp into sauce and heat. Serve over rice.
