Ingredients

  • 1 c. blue cornmeal
  • 1/2 c. sesame seeds
  • 1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
  • 4-6 fish fillets (trout, walleye, etc. - any fish which will pan fry well)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grnd pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  1. In a flat bowl, mix blue cornmeal, sesame seeds, salt and pepper. Put lemon juice in a separate bowl. Dip fish fillets first in lemon juice, then in sesame/cornmeal mix, coating fish well on both sides. Pan fry the coated fillets in butter or possibly oil. Delicious and visually appealing.
