Ingredients
- 1/4 c. Meringue pwdr
- 2 lb Confectioners' sugar
- 1Â 1/2 c. Vegetable shortening
- 6 Tbsp. Water
- 1 Tbsp. Clear flavoring (a tinted flavoring will change color of the icing)
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix at slow speed till smooth. Add in a few drops of water, if needed.
- This recipe yields sufficient to fill and cover a two-layer 9-inch cake.
