Ingredients
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 cube butter
- 1/2 cube butter
- 12 ounce. chocolate chips, sweet not semisweet
- 1 pkg. almonds, crushed or possibly slivered
Directions
- Heat sugar, butter and butter stirring constantly till candy thermometer reaches 290 degrees. Immediately pour onto cookie sheet with sides. Cold. Heat chocolate chips over low to medium heat. Spread melted chocolate chips over the sugar mix on cookie sheet. Sprinkle almonds generously over chocolate. Cold. Break into pcs.
