  3. 3. In a skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Add in the carrots, turnip, celery, and onion and cook stirring often for 10 min.
  4. 4. Add in the vegetables to the soup. Simmer till the vegetables are tender, about 10 min more. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
