- Cook stewing hen, salt to taste. Remove from bones and cut fine with kitchen shears. Add in 3 c. rich broth, bring to a boil. Add in 5 slices of bread, broken into pcs as for dressing. Stir till bread dissolves into broth, then heat to low and slowly stir in well beaten Large eggs. Cook till thickened. Serve on warm sandwich buns. Can put in crockpot to keep hot.
