%20with%20my%20all%20white%20batches%20like%20the%20white%20church%20shirts%20and%20white%20dish%20towels.%20But%20other%20than%20that,%20I%20use%20this%20stuff%20on%20everything%20from%20jeans%20to%20towels%20to%20delicates.%20And%20it%20gets%20them%20all%20clean.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EI%20know%20some%20of%20you%20will%20ask%20how%20it%20smells.%20Basically%20it%20just%20makes%20your%20clothes%20smell%20clean.%20Now%20I'm%20kind%20of%20a%20psycho%20when%20it%20comes%20to%20laundry,%20and%20I%20like%20everything%20scented.%20Like%20a%20lot.%20If%20you%20have%20four%20boys,%20you%20might%20understand%20why.%20;)%20%20I%20use%20Downy,%20because%20I%20love%20having%20my%20clothes%20(and%20especially%20my%20sheets),%20smell%20amazing.%20But%20that%20is%20just%20me.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ETried%20and%20Tested%20Homemade%20Laundry%20Detergent%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3E1%20bar%20Fels%20Naptha%20soap,%20grated%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3EPlace%20the%20grated%20Fels%20Naptha%20in%20your%20blender,%20then%20pour%20the%20remaining%20ingredients%20on%20top.%20Blend%20till%20it%20resembles%20coarse%20sand.%20Pour%20into%20a%20container%20with%20a%20lid.%20I%20have%20soft%20water%20and%20a%20front%20loading%20washing%20machine,%20and%20I%20use%20about%20a%20Tablespoon%20of%20detergent%20per%20batch.%20Usually%20less.%20For%20sheets%20and%20towels%20that%20don't%20actually%20get%20%22dirty%22,%20I%20use%20about%20half%20that.%20For%20clothes%20that%20come%20home%20from%20overnight%20scout%20campouts%20in%20the%20smoke/mud/grass/whatever%20I%20use%20a%20little%20more.%20I've%20never%20used%20more%20than%20a%20tablespoon%20and%20a%20half.%3C/p%3E%3Cp%3ENote:%20This%20detergent%20doesn't%20make%20a%20lot%20of%20suds,%20so%20it%20is%20great%20for%20HE%20washing%20machines.%3C/p%3E){kind=link}
