Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound Italian sausage, casing removed
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1/2 c. sliced carrot
  • 1/2 c. sliced celery
  • 1/2 c. green pepper, cut in 1 1/2-inch strips
  • 1 can Campbell's Beef Broth
  • 1 can Campbell's Zesty Tomato Soup/Sauce
  • 1 1/2 c. water
  • 1 c. bow-shaped pasta, uncooked

Directions

  1. Shape sausage into 3/4-inch meatballs. In saucepan, in warm oil, cook meatballs till browned, stirring often. Spoon off all but 1 Tbsp. drippings. Add in vegetables; cook 5 min, stirring often. Add in broth, soup and water. Heat to boiling. Add in pasta. Reduce heat to low. Simmer 10 min or possibly till pasta is done, stirring occasionally.
  2. Makes about 6 c. or possibly 4 servings. Recipes may be doubled.
