- Add in dry ingredients alternately with 2 c. mashed potatoes till well blended. Refrigeratefor several hrs. Roll out on floured board to 1/2 inch thick. Cut with doughnut cutter and fry in warm oil. When doughnut rises to top of oil, turn over and fry till brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels and roll in mix of 2 c. sugar and 1 tsp. cinnamon.
