Ingredients
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. oil
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. lowfat milk
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 2 Tbsp. strawberry Jello Red food coloring
- 1 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. white Karo syrup
- 1 pt strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 pkt Knox gelatin
Directions
- Crust:Blend and pat in pie plate. Bake at 400 degrees for 12 min.
- Filling:Mix the sugar, cornstarch, Karo and water; cook till clear, stirring constantly. Add in Jello and a few drops of red food coloring. (To insure proper consistency, mix half package of Knox gelatin with small amount of water and add in.) Let cold slightly; add in sliced strawberries and pour into shell. Chill and chill. Top with whipped cream.
