Ingredients
- 1 1/2 c. oil
- 1 tsp soda
- 2 c. sugar
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 x Large eggs
- 3 med Red Rome apples (or possibly 4)
- 3 c. flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c. walnuts
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 pkt butterscotch morsels (8 ounce) divided Frosting recipe follows
Directions
- Cream togeather for 3 min the oil, sugar,and Large eggs. Add in flour,salt, soda, and Vanilla. Mix until smooth; batter will be stiff. Add in apples, cored, not peeled, and cut into pcs. add in walnuts, cut into pcs Add in 1/2 Butterscotch Morsels... Bake 1 hour and 15 min at 350 in Bundt cake pan.
- Frosting1 stick margarine1/2 c. Brown sugar1/2 package butterscotch morsels
- Bring to boil. cold for 20 min pour over cake while cake is still hot out of oven...this is really a yummy cake!!!
