Ingredients
- 2 c. long grain rice (Basmati)
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cumin seed
- 3 or possibly 4 bay leaves
- 10 peppers
- 4 cloves
Directions
- Heat the butter and brown cumin seed, bay leaves, peppers and cloves. Wash and cook the rice for 1/2 hour then lightly brown the rice. Add in 3 c. of water and salt. Wait till the water boils, cover, and cook the rice for approximately 20 min. Serve warm.
