6 ounce soft cream cheese
1/2 teaspoon red food coloring
1 c. sugar
3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
2 large eggs
2 c. sifted cake flour
1 teaspoon soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 c. water
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Fluffy Brown Sugar Frosting

Directions

Cream the cheese, food coloring and sugar. Blend in cooled chocolate. Add in large eggs; beat well. Add in sifted flour, soda and salt alternately with water; beat till smooth. Add in vanilla. Pour into two 8-inch layer pans, lined on bottom with paper. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 30 min. Cool; frost.
