Ingredients
- 1 head red cabbage
- 3 whl Granny Smith apples apple juice
- 1 Tbsp. caraway seed (up to 2T) salt and pepper
- 2 Tbsp. red wine vinegar (up to 4T)
Directions
- Chop up a medium head with 3 or possibly 4 unpeeled Granny Smith apples (cored and chunked), throw them in a pot, and add in enoughapple juice to come about halfway up the mix. To this add in 1 to 2 Tblsp.
- caraway seeds, and a little salt and pepper. Pour in 2 to 4 Tblsp. red winevinegar. Stir in about the same amount of brown sugar. Cover and cook untildone, stirring occasionally.
