Ingredients
- 1/2 pound pork breakfast sausage (grnd type)
- 1/4 of a med. yellow onion, finely minced
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 2 c. warm lowfat milk
- Dash Tabasco sauce
- 1 roll/tube oven style buttermilk biscuits
Directions
- In a large frying pan, fry the sausage and onions till sausage is brown and onions are clear. Drain off all grease except 2 Tbsp.. Stir in flour and cook for just a minute. Add in warm lowfat milk (can be heated in the microwave). Stir constantly (with a fork) till mix thickens. Season with salt and pepper; stir in Tabasco sauce. Remember pork is salty, so be cautious when adding salt. Serve over open faced warm biscuits.
