Ingredients
- 1 pkt Yellow cake mix
- 1 can (20 ounce.) crushed pineapple
- 1 c. Sugar
- 1 pkt (6 ounce.) vanilla pudding mix
- 1 c. Whipping cream, whipped and slightly sweetened Flaked coconut, slightly toasted
Directions
- Prepare cake according to package directionis and bake in a greased and floured 13-by-9-inch baking pan. Combine crushed pineapple and sugar in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cold slightly. When cake has cooled, poke holes in it with a fork. Pour pineapple mixtrue over it. Prepare pudding mix according to package directions; cold. Spread pudding over cake. Chill.
- Just before serving, cover cake with sweetened whipped cream and sprinkle with coconut. If you like, garnish with pineapple slices.
