Ingredients
- 1 tsp Basil
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Pepper
- 3 cups Crushed Tomatoes
- 2 lbs Ground Beef
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 2 Tbs Vegetable Oil
- 1 lb Pasta Shells
- 2-1/2 cups Cheddar Cheese, grated
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook the pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
- While pasta is cooking...Heat the oil in a skillet; add the onion and garlic, and saute until soft.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the tomatoes, salt, pepper basil, cumin and oregano.
- In a large bowl, combine the pasta and the beef mixture.
- Pour mixture into a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
- Top with cheese and bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes, or until the cheese is lightly browned.
