Ingredients

  • 1 cup barley (soak for several hours before cooking)
  • 3 tbsp wild rice (soak with the barley)
  • 2 1/2 cups water
  • 1 tsp chicken powder
  • 1 eggplant, cubed and prepped
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen peas
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
