Directions

  1. Pare apples, core and cut into eights. Arrange in pie shell. Mix 1/2 c. sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over apples. Mix 1/3 c. sugar with flour, cut in butter till crumbly(with pastry blender) Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 400 F for 35-40 min, or possibly till done. If pie browns too quickly, cover edge with foil. Cold. Pass the whipped cream!
