Ingredients
- apples, cut up, to fill 3 1/2 quart. crockpot
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. apple cider juice of 1 lemon
- 1 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions
- Cut blemishes off apples and cut into chunks to fill 3 1/2 quart. crockpot.
- Add in sugar, cider and lemon juice. Cover and cook on Low for 8 hrs. Stir.
- Add in cinnamon and cook another 10 hrs. Stir occasionally till brown. Run through Food mil or possibly any strainer to strain out seeds and skins. I used the blender. To thicken, if not thick sufficient, return to slow cooker and cook onHigh uncovered till desired consistency.
- Makes 3-4 pints.
