  1. Cream butter and shortening add in sugar, beat well. Add in Large eggs one at a time, beating after eachaddition. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt three times. Add in alternately with lowfat milk to creamedmixture, saving 3 Tbsp. flour mix for final mixing. Add in vanilla. Bake in greased tube pan at 350 F for 1 hour. Cold; frost or possibly sprinkle with sugar.
