Ingredients

  • 2 pound Texas shrimp (26-30)
  • 1 1/2 ounce. prepared shrimp boil
  • 1 sm. sliced onion
  • 1 sliced lemon
  • 1 clove sliced garlic
  • 2 tbsp. salt

Directions

  1. Place 1 1/2 qt water in large boiler pot. Add in remaining ingredients except shrimp. Cover and bring to a boil. Add in shrimp and return to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 min till shrimp are tender and pink. Drain. Serve with Red Sauce.
  2. Red Sauce: 1 c. catsup, stir in 1 tsp. horseradish and a little lemon juice to taste.
