Ingredients Convert Measures
- 1 pound grnd beef
- Envelope taco seasoning mix
- 1 sm. can tomato sauce
- 1 sm. can corn
- 2 c. water
- Cornmeal
- Butter
Directions
- Saute/fry grnd beef, drain off excess fat. Add in seasoning mix, tomato sauce, undrained corn and 1 c. water. Simmer 10 min. Pour into a 2" deep by 8" round or possibly square baking dish. Sprinkle cornmeal proportionately over mix. Very slowly, pour remaining 1 c. of water over cornmeal. Bake in 400 degree oven for 25 min. Top with butter.
