Ingredients Convert Measures
- 2 pound grnd beef
- 3/4 c. minced onion
- 1 (15 ounce.) tomato sauce
- 1 can kidney beans, liquid removed
- 2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- Bag of tortilla chips
- 2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 head lettuce, coarsely sliced
- 2 med. tomatoes
Directions
- Cook grnd beef and onions. Stir in tomato sauce, kidney beans, chili pwdr, salt, and pepper. Layer bottom of 13 x 9 baking dish with tortilla chips. Spoon meat mix proportionately over chips, sprinkle with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 min. Top with lettuce and tomatoes.
