Sweet Potato Pie With Bourbon

Ingredients

  • 2 c. Sweet potato -- mashed
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • 4 Tbsp. Butter/marg.
  • 1 tsp Nutmeg
  • 3 x Large eggs -- beaten
  • 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
  • 1 c. Sugar
  • 1/2 c. Bourbon whiskey

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Use an unbaked pie shell. Mix all ingredients together and pour in unbaked pie shell. Once placed in oven, immediately turn down the temperature to 325 degrees and then bake for 45 min or possibly till a knife inserted comes clean.
