Ingredients
1/2 c. unseasoned rice vinegar
2 Tbsp. mirin (Japanese sweet cooking sake)
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tsp sugar
1 tsp finely-chopped shallot or possibly green onion
Salt to taste
Freshly-grnd black pepper to taste
Directions
Whisk all ingredients till sugar is dissolved. Store covered in refrigerator up to 1 week.
