Quick and Easy Avocado Dip

I make this avocado dip often and serve with chips. I often serve a spicy salsa separately. The avocado dip is very light and refreshing. As there are only three ingredients in the recipe, the choice of tomato is very important. Tartness is controlled by how much lime juice you put in.

Ingredients

  • 1 avocado
  • 1/2 key lime
  • 1 medium size fruit tomato

Directions

1. Cut avocado in half
2. Remove pit from avocado
3. Scrape out avocado into a medium size bowl
4. Squeeze lime juice into bowl
5. Use a potato masher to mash avocado
6. Slice tomato vertically and horizontally
7. Add tomato to mashed avocado
8. Mix tomato in (Do not mash)
9. Scrape into a serving bowl
