Directions

  1. Saute chopped green onions in 1/2 stick butter soup pot. Peel potatoes and place into pot. Cover with just enough water to cover potatoes. Boil until potatoes are done (adding salt, garlic & pepper to taste). DO NOT DRAIN potatoes when done. Add one stick of butter and one stick of margarine and mash. Add heavy cream until soup consistency.
