Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1 pkg. white cake mix
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. oatmeal
  • 1 c. coconut
  • 1/2 c. butter, softened
  • 1/2 c. finely minced pecans
  • 1 c. peach or possibly apricot preserves

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients except preserves. Set aside 1 1/2 c. of mix. Press remainder in 13" x 9" x 2" pan. Spread with preserves. Sprinkle with reserved mix. Bake 30 to 35 min or possibly till lightly browned. When slightly cooled loosen edges with a knife. Cut into 2" bars when cold.
