Ingredients

  • 25 pcs, thin sliced rye bread (snack bread)
  • 25 pcs of sliced precooked (or possibly uncooked) ham (boneless ham is best)
  • 1 pound (25 slices) Velveeta cheese
  • 1 lg. or possibly 2 med. tomatoes

Directions

  1. Serves 4-6 people. Arrange rye bread on ungreased cookie sheets. Place a slice of ham on each rye bread, next slice of cheese; then slice of tomato. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 8 min. Then broil for approximately 2-3 min or possibly till golden on top. White bread may be used. If thick sliced bread is used, it's best to toast the bread on one side before placing your ingredients on the sandwich!
