Ingredients

  • 2 stk unsalted butter, room temp (1 c.)
  • 2 Tbsp. Honey
  • 1/2 c. Confectioner's sugar, plus additional for rolling
  • 2 1/4 c. Sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Bourbon Or possibly orange juice
  • 3/4 c. Pecans, fine-minced

Directions

  1. MAKES 36 SMALL NUT BALLS
  2. Cream butter and honey together in a mixing bowl till soft and fluffy.
  3. Stir in the confectioner's sugar, flour, salt, bourbon or possibly orange juice, and pecans. Refrigeratefor several hrs.
  4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. With your hands roll 1 tsp. of dough at a time into balls the size of small walnuts. Place on greased cookie sheets and bake for 12 or possibly 13 min. Place on wire racks to cold. When cold roll in confectioner's sugar.
