Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1 (16 ounce.) can jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1 (3 ounce.) pkg. strawberry Jello
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1 tart apple, shredded (Granny Smith's work great)
  • 1/2 c. minced walnuts, optional

Directions

  1. In saucepan (or possibly microwave), heat cranberry sauce. Add in water and Jello. Stir till Jello dissolves. Add in lemon juice and salt. Refrigeratetill slightly thick. Add in mayonnaise. Beat till fluffy with electric hand beater. Mix in apple and walnuts. Pour in mold and chill. Can easily be increased. Serves 6.
