Marshmallow Treats with Non-Pareils Recipe
- 3 T. margarine or butter
- 1 package (10 oz about 40) regular marshmallows
- or 4 cups miniature marshmallows or 1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow cream
- 6 cups Rice Krispies Cereal
- 1 cup non-pareils candies
Melt margarine or butter in a large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Add 1 cup non-pareils candies. Stir until melted.
Add Rice Krispies Cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using a buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture into a 13x9x2-inch pan coated with cooking spray. Cut into squares when cool.
