Malaysian Pancake/Crepe

Bored of eating pancakes/crepes with the same old fillings? Try out this Malaysian version which has different flavours that your family and friends would enjoy. The texture is a breed of a crepe and pancake and is tasty when eaten warm or cold.

Ingredients

  • Pancake:
  • 110g plain flour
  • A pinch of salt
  • 300ml of full-cream milk (or low fat is fine)
  • Splash of oil to avoid from sticking
  • Filling:
  • Cream of sweet corn
  • Roasted and grounded peanuts
  • Sugar for sprinkling

Directions

  1. In a large bowl mix all the ingredients for the pancake.
  2. Then heat a non-stick pan and pour a ladle and half of the pancake batter and top with the fillings.
  3. Cover the pan for about 4-5minutes allowing the pancake to cook through.
  4. Open the lid and fold the pancake into half-moon and remove from heat and serve warm or cold as snacks.
