Ingredients

  • 3 lb Broiler chicken -- cut up
  • 4 c. Water
  • 1/2 c. Minced onions
  • 1/2 c. Minced celery
  • 1/2 c. Carrots -- minced
  • 1 Tbsp. Chicken bouillon -- Granules
  • 2 tsp Poultry seasoning
  • 16 whl peppercorns
  • 1 c. Noodles -- medium
  • 1 tsp Salt

Directions

  1. In deep 4-qt casserole, arrange chicken with bony pcs in center and meaty pcs to outer edges. Add in water. Stir in onion, celery, carrot, chicken bouillon granules and poultry seasoning. Tie peppercorns in cheesecloth and add in to soup. Cover. Microwave at full power (high) for 20 min or possibly till beginning to boil. Microwave at 30% (medium low) for 15 min. Rearrange chicken pcs. Stir in noodles, being sure noodles are under broth. Cover. Microwave at 30% (medium low) for 30 min or possibly till noodles and chicken are tender, stirring several times and giving dish a half turn once. Remove chicken pcs and peppercorns from soup. Skim excess fat from soup. Remove bones and skin from chicken. Throw away bones and skin. Cut up chicken and return to soup. Microwave soup at full power
  2. (high) for 5 to 6 min or possibly till heated through.
