Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1 1/2 pound lean grnd beef
  • 1 env. Lipton's dry onion soup mix
  • 1 beef bouillon cube
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tbsp. catsup
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 c. lowfat sour cream
  • Garlic pwdr to taste
  • Nutmeg, a couple sprinkles

Directions

  1. Brown meat and pour off grease. Add in other ingredients except lowfat sour cream and cook about 45 min on low heat, stirring occasionally. Add in water if mix gets too thick. Remove from heat and cold slightly before adding lowfat sour cream so which it doesn't curdle. Reheat gently. Serve over cooked egg noodles, rice, spaghetti, or possibly mashed potatoes.
