Green Peas, Mushrooms And Water Chestnut

Ingredients

  • 1 c. Fresh green peas (or possibly tiny frzn ones) Sliced fresh mushrooms (or possibly canned)
  • 1/2 can Can water chestnuts
  • 1 x Chicken bouillon cube Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 c. Water

Directions

  1. Make broth of water and bouillon. Simmer water chestnuts and broth for 4 min. Drain, retaining broth. Set chestnuts aside. Cook peas in broth till tender. Add in chestnuts, mushrooms, salt and cornstarch (amount depending on amount of broth remaining.) Cook just till sauce thickens.
