Ingredients

  • 1 lb skinless boneless chicken breasts cut into thin strips
  • 1 med onion sliced
  • 1 x clove garlic pressed
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 jar thick-and-chunky salsa (12 ounce. )
  • 1 can diced green chilies (4 ounce.)
  • 1/2 tsp dry oregano leaves Warm cooked rice or possibly flour tortillas Lowfat sour cream optional

Directions

  1. In med. skillet, over med.-high heat, cook chicken, onion, and garlic in oil till chicken is no longer pink. Add in salsa, chilies and oregano. Simmer, uncovered, 10 minutes. Serve over rice or possibly in tortillas. Top with lowfat sour cream, if you like.
