Ingredients Convert Measures

  • 1/2 pound Monterey Jack cheese, grated
  • 1 4-once can green chiles, diced
  • 1 package Won Ton skins
  • Guacamole Dip:
  • 2 large, ripe avocados
  • 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 2 teaspoons minced green onion
  • 3 tablespoons mayonaise

Directions

  1. Won Tons:
  2. Mix cheese and green chiles.
  3. Place 1 teaspoon mixture on a Won Ton skin and fold like an envelope. Seal with a little dab of water.
  4. Fry in 2 inches of hot oil until golden brown, turning so that both sides will be golden brown.
  5. Drain. Serve hot with guacamole dip.
  6. Guacamole Dip:
  7. Mash pulp of avocado and blend in lime juice.
  8. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smoth.
  9. Cover and refrigerate until used.
