Ingredients Convert Measures
- ! cup butter
- 2 cups diced celery
- 1.5 cups chopped onions
- 1/4 cup minced parsley
- 2-1/4 tspns salt
- 2 tspns poultry seasoning (Vegeta chicken stock powder)
- 1/2 tspn pepper
- 18 cups bread cubes (Irish Soda Bread recipe to follow)
- 3 eggs, slightly beaten
Directions
- n an 8 quart dutch oven or saucepan add butter over medium heat
- Add celery and onion and cook for 10 minutes, stirring often
- Then add parsley, salt, seasoning and pepper
- Mix well
- Remove from heat and add bread and eggs
- Mix well
- Makes about 10 cups stuffing for a 12 to 14 pound bird
